A MAO毕业于上海大学美术学院，现在在大阪艺术大学设计系攻读硕士。她说这个动画的灵感来源于她聆听ME:MO（北京的电子音乐人）的《a little film in musical box》时得到的启发，才着手用时下流行的水墨动画风格将那属于她自己的梦幻之境用浅浅的颜色随着音乐的节奏描摹、铺展及流淌出来，最终成为了这么一个关于梦境的动画。
