Wee Ling was born in Singapore and has been living in China for the past 3+ years. While in university, she made up her mind to move to Beijing but ended up in Shanghai working for an accounting firm instead. She loves writing and started to pursue writing a little more seriously after landing a gig with Singapore’s main broadsheet, The Straits Times, as a freelance youth journalist because of her then blog.
Wee Ling is still looking to balance her creative interests and background in accounting / finance. Visual communication inspires her and she brings her camera everywhere. When she is not taking photos, you can find her eating malatang on the streets of Shanghai.
