modern interpretation of the chinese zodiac’s 12 symbolic animals by beijing-based artist CUI QIANG
With 2011 now upon us and Chinese New Year just around the corner, we’ll very soon be moving from the year of the tiger to the year of the rabbit. As such, we thought it fitting to have a quick review of the Chinese zodiac and what to expect for the next 12 years.
See below for a lovely modern interpretation of the Chinese zodiac’s 12 symbolic animals by Beijing-based painter Cui Qiang. We find the colors and imagery particularly inspiring.
