We were struck by the simplicity, raw emotion, and new spray technique used by Yan Wei in the below piece. She told us the image came suddenly into her head while at the hospital and feeling overcome by the feeling you get when you see something you know you shouldn’t and just can’t stop crying. As Yan Wei explains: “It’s just a painful void.”
