We recently went to check out a SUBS concert in Shanghai at Mao Livehouse. It was the first live performance in support of the punk band’s new album “Queen of Fucking Everything.” Although this time around she refrained from spitting on or punching anyone, SUBS lead-singer (and our good friend), Kang Mao never disappoints an audience with her raucous stage antics and punk-rock magnetism – as expected, the show was one to remember.
The new album is darker and more demented than ever. We just had to share with you – have a listen, we’ve embedded it in-full below.
For all of you SUBS fans out there, GO BUY THE ALBUM, it comes with a ton of fun “extras” and collectibles, like a full set of playing cards designed by the band and friends, 12 bad-ass black and white band portraits, and multi-colored post cards with bilingual (English and Chinese) lyrics for all of the album’s 12 songs. We still haven’t figured out what stores are carrying the album (if you know, please share in comments section), but if you are in Beijing on July 23rd, pick up a copy at the SUBS show at Mao Livehouse Beijing – show starts at 9:30 pm.
