Black Head is a band that comes out of Xi’an, with a hip-hop style that embraces their Shannxi roots. Incorporating elements of genres ranging from blues, opera, jazz, rock, and electronica, their lyrics are fresh, original, and thought-provoking. Black Head hopes to “Carry on the traditions of [their] ancestors.” After listening to their music, you’ll see why they deserve to represent the charm of Shannxi culture and its dialect.
The band started with the collaboration of Night Rider and Hornet, with guitarist Zhang Ning, bass player Shuangxi, and drummer Bi Tao joining afterwards.
