Jason Zhan Jia is a web savvy digital native with over four years experience in the digital marketing / communications industry. He is widely recognized as an expert in Chinese social media, consumer-generated media (CGM), Internet Word of Mouth (IWOM), digital marketing, viral marketing, interactive communications, online research and market intelligence, China Internet trends and culture, and youth digital lifestyle.
Jason currently leads the social media practice for Razorfish in the Greater China region. Prior to this, he was an account manager at CIC, an industry-pioneering Internet Word of Mouth research and consulting agency.
In addition to being a contributor to NeochaEDGE, Jason runs IN2marcom, a blog all about innovative and insightful marketing communications in China’s digital and social media spaces.
Jason holds a Bachelor Degree (with Honors) from Staffordshire University, where he majored in Business Administration.
Beyond his devotion to China’s digital world, Jason is also passionate about the aquatic world. He is currently raising two Chinese stripe-necked turtles, two soft-shell turtles, and various other tropical fish in his home aquarium.
