Tadaomi Shibuya is an illustrator / designer / artist with a unique geometric style and an obvious passion for hip hop and jazz music. Based in Yokohama, Japan, Shibuya’s work has been featured in international galleries as well as on album covers and in commercial projects. His distinct, straight-line style is hard to miss as he elegantly portrays people and pop culture icons in a simple yet incredibly descriptive manner.

“My art is influence by my childhood experiences, super robot animation, science fiction, hip hop music and Japanese art…My art has many straight lines because the straight line is a uniquely human concept. I follow this concept as a basic rule.”
