Pink Tentacle is one of our favorite places online discover new artists and find inspiration from Japan. A recent post of theirs on the retro sci-fi orb paintings of Masakatsu Sashie was particularly eye-catching. The city-like orbs come from a dilapidated futuristic world and contain many familiar consumer culture brands and symbols from the past 30 years.
