  • in the neighborhood | “manga farming” from tokyo-based artist koshi kawachi

    You don’t typically think of comics and farming going together, but Tokyo-based artist Koshi Kawachi has done just that. Using old manga books as a growing medium, radish sprouts are raised in between the books’ pages. The “Manga Farming” technique was recently exhibited in an installation at the Nagoya Matsuzakaya department store.
