events | CONVERSE RUBBER TRACKS unlocks the doors to iconic studios around the world
For any musicians out there who would love to record their own music in a world-renowned studio, Converse now has the program for you. Converse Rubber Tracks is giving hopeful musicians the chance to record original tracks in some of the world’s greatest recording studios in music history. Even better, it’s free.
Those who are accepted into the program can choose where they want to travel, choosing from 12 studios spread across four continents and eight different countries.
The 12 recording studios are:
Abbey Road Studios – London
Sunset Sound – Los Angeles
Hansa Tonstudio – Berlin
Tuff Gong – Kingston
Greenhouse Studios – Reykjavík
The Warehouse Studio – Vancouver
Avast Recording Co. – Seattle
Stankonia – Atlanta
Studios 301 – Sydney
Toca do Bandido – Rio de Janeiro
Converse Rubber Tracks Studio – Brooklyn
Converse Rubber Tracks Studio – Boston
The application is open until Wednesday, June 24th, at which point musicians will be selected and then the list of winners announced in July. Before September of this year, winners must travel to the studio of their choosing. All travel expenses and housing costs will be covered by Converse.
