We live in the information age, where every moment of our lives is constantly being bombarded with innumerable choices; in this overstimulated environment, how do we find out what is important and what is not?

One path along the road to truth is through music. Through the phenomena of sound, we can catch glimpses of beauty and broaden our experience, one note at a time. This April, Maybe Mars Records will release the new album from the band Snapline, entitled “Phenomena.” In addition to the conventional CD release, Snapline will also be releasing their album on vinyl.

Yang Fan‘s music is full of change and fantasy, and she created the live sound for musical legendary paper-cut animation “Die Abenteuer des Prinzen Achmed” . Yang Fan’s been trying bold musical experiment, guitar, ukulele, mandolin, Bass celesta, melodica, accordion, children’s keyboard, flute, clarinet, percussion, Mini Moog synthesizer and so are all used by her to created great sound. PAUSEBREAD PRESS RISOGRAPH PRINT from WEI & SUFEI ///

“Pausebread Press” is a Risograph print shop in dalian, founded by Sufei and Wei from Bananafish Books. They hope all the local artists could be able to print their own zine with Pausebread. They named it “Pausebread” for the simple, clean, casual feelings that a good individual zine delivers, which is just like a bite of bread in the afternoon.

Risograph is a high-speed digital printing system manufactured by the Riso Kagaku Corporation and designed mainly for high-volume photocopying and printing. Increasingly, Risograph machines have been commonly referred to as a RISO Printer-Duplicator, due to their common usage as a network printer as well as a stand-alone duplicator.

Duyukai and Tangya‘s animation “Musical Chairs” features a lot of folk patterns, and has a strong sense of local flavor. The background sounds includes shop drama, drums, rhythm, and the escalation of the process of the “Musical Chairs”. The contention surrounding the stool is a desire to win rather than a force, but desire never wins.
