See below for a thoughtful woodcut design by Shanghai-based creative Momo titled “Man & Women.” Momo remixed / cross-integrated the Chinese characters for him (他) and her (她) to come up with two new characters that, as she says,
“…present male and female not as opposing genders, but rather as understanding of each other and living in harmony…”
These woodcuts were designed as washroom signs for the W+K Shanghai office. Bravo! We love them.
