elephant & sally zou’s marathon painting session for nike cortez ///

To celebrate Nike Cortez being named the sneaker to represent the Year of the Tiger, two of our favorites at W+K Shanghai – Elephant and Sally Zou – recently took to hand painting the evolution of the shoe for a new online Nike video. The video covers over 30 years of Cortez history, with Elephant and Sally’s marathon painting session taking 20 straight hours to complete. Check out the finished video below as well as some behind the scenes photos. Very cool. Bravo Elephant and Sally, you too W+K and Nike! We love this.
