Copywriting doesn’t always get the credit it deserves in the creative industry, especially in China.

Well, not at NeochaEDGE – we love it and think that when done well, it’s often more powerful and compelling than visuals and graphics. A picture is worth a 1000 words – or something like that – but, in our estimation, good Chinese language copy is worth a 1000 ideas.

See below for some playful “toilet-humor” Chinese language copy we recently came across in a public bathroom near the NeochaEDGE studio. This copy is by no means amazing, but it does a much better job of encouraging patrons to flush (and put your used tea leaves) than anything we’ve seen before; and it does it in a new, fun, and creative way. Bravo to the Office Auntie that took the initiative to put these signs up!

If you spot good Chinese language copy, please share it with us it with us at: EDGE@Neocha.com.
