“SKETCH BOOK,” a project from illustrator INKEE
Illustrator Inkee currently studies in London. We were first introduced to her with the release of her project “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” influenced by the classic American film of the same name.
The following series of illustrations comes from her “Sketchbook” project. It doesn’t follow a specific theme, rather each piece holds a specific meaning. The name of the first piece is “WAITING button,” expressing her feelings of waiting for something to happen: “Everyday we are waiting, at the cafe ordering coffee, texting, making phone calls, but you never know when your time will run out.” Life does not always have a waiting button, and we need to make sure that we are making the best of our time here on earth.
