The ABS CREW draws its name from members’ hometowns in the north of China, which are, “Around the Bohai Sea,” hence the “ABS.”

Established in 2008, the crew is composed of established graffiti writers “And Chen” (Beijing), Seven (Tianjin), Scar (aka: Scarlet), Noise, and SME.

See below for some of their work. The first piece is a collaboration with the Loomit, the legendary German godfather of graffiti in 2009. The second piece, titled “战争无情” (The Ruthlessness of War) was done in remembrance of the Nanjing Massacre. The second to last piece, titled “托起希望” (Lift Up Hopes) was done in remembrance of the May 12th, 2009 earthquake in Sichuan.
