“100 SCENES OF LIFE,” an illustration project from taiwan-based illustrator SMOKY
Last time, we showcased some sculpture work from the multi-talented Smoky. This time, we’re introducing his illustration project titled “100 Scenes of Life.”
“Ren Seng” is a play on the Chinese word “Ren Sheng,” meaning “life,” and is the name of the personal design brand Smoky plans to establish in 2012. Smoky was inspired to do this series after drawing a single picture while brainstorming designs, eventually drawing a few more to express his feelings about life. He plans to produce a total of one hundred unique illustrations in order to fully express his “impression of many life scenes as they play out within the mind.” See below for a few pieces from the series so far.
