FanFanCan X Neocha photography from “search for creative city”

Last month, together with the Knowledge & Innovation Community (KIC), NeochaEDGE organized 4 weekends of Chinese creativity and fun as part of the Search for Creative City (寻城记) event series. We gathered 16 of Shanghai’s most interesting creative groups to exhibit, perform, host games, sell products, and just have a great time with everyone who attended.

We’d like to thank all of the creative groups, street artists, musicians / bands, security guards, and taxi cab drivers that participated – thank you!

As a way to remember Search for Creative City, we’d like to share with you a souvenir photographic booklet that we produced together with FanFanCan. See below.

Over the past couple of weeks we’ve been posting time-lapse videos of the live art performances from Search for Creative City (寻城记), an event NeochaEDGE collaborated on with the Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC). As the graffiti writers who participated in the event are pretty much the best the city has to offer in terms of street art, we thought we’d pull them all together in a single post for everyone to enjoy. See below for a short time-lapse video of Shanghai-based Reload Crew’s head writer Shier’s live street-art performance from the Search for Creative City event series NeochaEDGE collaborated on with the Knowledge & Innovation Community (KIC). The video’s soundtrack is a song by indie electronic musician (and Neocha.com co-founder) B6 titled Little Absurdity. We’ll be doing these videos for all seven graffiti writers participating in the event, so watch this space for more.
